Reading at Abingdon Library

I recently had the pleasure of reading at Abingdon Library, and it was a fantastic experience! The children, along with their parents, really enjoyed the reading. Afterward, we did some colouring in. My illustrator, Elin, had kindly prepared a black and white sheet featuring all the characters for the children to colour, and the library made copies and provided pencils. When I arrived, the staff were busy sharpening all the pencils, which was a lovely touch.

A special highlight of the event was the debut appearance of Willy & Wally in soft toy form! My sister-in-law had made these one-of-a-kind toys, making them truly priceless. The children were thrilled to see these characters come to life.

Overall, it was a delightful event, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share my stories with such an enthusiastic audience.
